Personal training is a fun and highly competitive industry. There are a lot of resources out there for new and experienced PT’s. Below are my favorite three books for personal trainers:
“Ignite the Fire.” Getting certified as a personal trainer is the first step, the second is building your business. This book teaches you the business side of building a successful PT business.
“Conscious Coaching: The Art and Science of Building Buy-In.” Selling the message is more important than ever, adn Brett Bartholomew’s essential tome on messaging and communication helps you deliver your training programs more effectively.
“Roar.” If you work with women gymgoers and athletes, this book is required reading. The fact is that the physiology of men and women is different, and most training and nutrition plans are geared towards men and applied haphazardly to women.
