Matt Grahn (@CoachMattGrahn) is a PCA trainer and serves as an assistant men’s basketball coach at the University of Dallas. Over 18 years, he has coached basketball at a variety of levels from high school to college, including eight years at Division I.

As Grahn says here, we play sports because it’s fun. How do we keep it fun for everyone involved? By staying positive. While some coaches believe in breaking down an athlete in order to build them up, Grahn says “you just build them up and that’s the way it should be.” Sport psychology experts would agree, positive is powerful.
