Have you been feeling tight and stuck during your golf swing rotation?
There are many reasons why your shoulder rotation might be “stuck”. This week we are going through a series of exercises to help you regain the mobility necessary for the perfect golf swing rotation. Increase your shoulder turn during the golf swing with these exercises:
Thoracic Rotation Stretch: This stretch will help you regain the mobility of your thoracic spine.
“Sniff the Pit” Stretch” This stretch will help you relax and stretch out your tight neck/upper trap muscles.
Shoulder External Rotation Stretch: This stretch will help you stretch out your chest and help you regain the ability to externally rotate your shoulder.
Half Kneeling Turns: This exercise will teach our bodies how to move the lower and upper body separately to allow the upper body to rotate fully during the backswing.
