Did you know that 85% of golfers slice the ball? Are you one of them? Did you know that imbalances and weak areas in your body might be to blame? This week we will be exploring two of the most common reasons golfers slice the ball and how to use golf fitness to fix them!
Reason #1: Your backswing is too steep (too much up) and not enough around.
Exercises: Chest stretch, lat stretch, thoracic mobility stretch (open books ribcage)
Reason #2: You are coming over the top with an open club face.
Exercises: Single leg glute bridge, seated torso rotation (for upper/lower body dissociation).
