Leg press is a great exercise for athletes who:
1. Are returning from injury. The leg press is a fixed-position exercise. Although it doesn’t help strengthen stabilizer muscles, it does isolate bigger leg muscles.
2. Want to spice up their leg training. Squats and deadlifts will always be king, but the leg press is an alternative way to train the lower body.
